Fun with Erin in Brown County

Erin has joined me many times for the Women's Fall Retreats. This year she drove down from Chicago on Friday evening and spent the night at home in her old bed. Then we drove to Brown County together on Saturday. We arrived just in time to hear Lori Goering's morning talk on our lives being a reflection of Christ. The next day when we hiked around Ogle Lake we saw trees reflecting in the water. Now everytime we see that we will think of Lori's talk.

Even though I was sick with a respiratory infection, on antibiotics and coughing every few minutes, we had a great time together. Here are a few pictures. Erin and I are both from Fun Country. You would have to see a video series we watched to understand that. Basically it is a temperament like Sanguine. We just like to have fun.

We spent the night in a cabin on Saturday night because there 'was no room in the inn." At least we didn't have to go sleep in the stable. We only had to deal with a few daddy long leg spiders. Did you know that if you smash one and their leg comes off, the leg keeps wiggling?

Fun times in Brown County with my precious daughter.
